This workshop focuses on a starting point in creating interests that the client has and turning those into
possible career opportunities. In this workshop Amerability will work with clients to ask themselves
which interests could be turned into a career or into a possible business they could begin to draft for
themselves. Strong focus on transitional focus through vocational training and best practices.
What will you do?
This 4-5 hour workshop helps participants turn their interests into viable business ideas and career strategies. Key activities include industry research, resume building tailored to their career or entrepreneurial goals, job searching via Zip Recruiter, and job coaching. Participants will engage in mock interviews and learn how to create a basic business plan. Outcomes include understanding the requirements for entering a chosen industry, creating a professional resume, gaining job search skills, and constructing a business plan. The workshop links these actions to participants' SMART goals from the Most Valuable Plan session for continued progress.
