"As a person who has lived a lifetime with Blind/Low-Vision I understand the struggles and adaptations required to succeed. I have been successful in corporate careers for Fortune 500 companies in both America and Australia, and managed two adaptive sports programs, one of which was the youth girls' Australian goalball team that went on to win the world cup! I have over 30 years of professional experience in supporting the blind, low-vision, and deafblind communities through rehabilitative programming, consulting, teaching, coaching, advocacy, and leadership. Amerability will connect youth through a mutual understanding of disability and barriers to success, both real and artificial in the world."

"Amerability will provide services statewide to support DSB’s PRE-ETS program in job exploration, work readiness skills training, self-advocacy, and work-based learning experiences. These services will be provided through a hybrid combination of in-person and virtual workshops, residential vision camps, and customized transitional activities at the annual consumer state conventions. These services are rooted in the Expanded Core Curriculum and pursue the success of each youth through a holistic approach to their entire self. Murray believes that a transformation is needed in disability mirrored by the "We the 12" movement from the Paralympics to change the perception of what an individual with a disability is capable of achieving with the right coaching and mentoring."
