SPRING VISION CAMP
Register Now! Tri-Cities, Spokane March 31st- April 4th 2024
Amerability’s Vision camp is held in Eastern Washington annually in the Spring. The purpose of the Vision Camp is to bring youth together for a 5-Day residential camp, focused on following the youth’s journeys through the previous workshops 1 through 4, provided earlier in the year by Amerability. This workshop will not only reinforce the learning outcomes from the previous workshops but will guide you in developing new tools and reviewing mentorship strategies to add to your vision for success.
Vision Camp is a time to check in and review your short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals set forth by each individual in Workshop 1 as well as the executable plan of action that participants crafted with their goals. You will also share your experiences and what your learned from Workshops 2, 3, and 4 with your peers. Amerability staff and mentors will nurture your learned outcomes from these previous workshops and support goal updating, creation, and action steps needed to succeed with ongoing goals.
This residential camp will include several fun, engaging, interactive, and peer-connected activities throughout the week. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to bolster your own self-confidence and independent living techniques away from school and home under mentor guidance. You will leave this camp with your goals reviewed and updated if necessary: action plan reviewed for accuracy, reinforced knowledge from previous workshops, new tools, guidance on improving your vision for transition into life, and valuable connection time with peers and youth mentors.

Recordings of previous workshops as well as pre-recorded lessons for newcomers to review will be available. Reviewing these materials prior to camp attendance will be mandatory for those youth who missed prior workshop sessions. This will allow youth to attend camp with much of the same valuable knowledge learned through the prior workshop sessions.
