About the event

Join us for an empowering week including mini workshops at the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, where technology meets opportunity. This Vision to Victory XL workshop is designed for students with blindness and low vision who are ready to explore careers in technology, AI and Coding. Through hands-on sessions with Microsoft Al tools, Copilot, Chat GPT, advanced prompting techniques and accessibility innovations, participants will gain valuable job readiness skills, build confidence, and connect directly with industry professionals. Each day strengthens independence, self-advocacy, and your ability to thrive in the modern workforce.

Who is Amerability Services?

We are a leading PRE-ETS service-provider in Washington, Oregon and Nevada who provides superior transition workshop experiences with strong and significant outcomes for students who are Blind, Deaf-blind and Low-Vision. CEO Murray Elbourn leads all workshops with content partners including Microsoft, CAT, EQ Records, the U.S. Blind Tennis Association and others. Murray has been a Paralympic athlete, world championship coach and a CEO of multiple companies. He has lived experience as a Low-Vision professional. Amerability Services embraces Assistive Technology because we understand the challenges students who are blind, Deaf-blind and Low-Vision students face. Workshop Cost

All Amerability workshops are free for DSB PRE-ETS customers aged 14-22 years-old who are Blind, Deaf-blind and Low-Vision and have a Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) plan.
